Published by DIFME on 19-Feb-2021
The Maltese DIFME partners are organizing another thematic event
on Wednesday 3rd March 2021 discussing Alternative Finance for Entrepreneurs. Alternative finance offers new opportunities
for those who are in need of capital and may provide microentrepreneurs with a
more flexible and responsive option to funding since providers may better align
to microentrepreneur needs.
This session will provide a deeper

EU regulation and highlight what finance investors look for in a business
finance request. The panel of speakers at the event include:
- Ronald Kleverlaan expert advisor on crowdfinancing for the European Commission, advisory board member of several crowdfunding initiatives, Founder of CrowdfundingHub and Director of the European Centre for Alternative Finance at Utrecht University.
- Matthew Caruana who since 2016, he has driven ZAAR, Malta’s leading crowdfunding platform, and grown it into a nationally-recognised brand.
